U of T Review of the Show
By Johanna Kristolaitis
There was plenty of entertainment set up for the incoming students this year. In conjunction with the Carnival put on by the Students’ Administrative Council (SAC) on Tuesday September 7, several acts put on a show under a tent in parking lot 8, organized by Vibe Radio.
...
The Incredible Boris was the main and final act of the night; his hypnotic introduction put many audience members out while drawing more under the tent and into the show. Eight of the hypnotized audience members acted out scenarios under Boris’s guidance to hilarious effect. From a white water rafting trip down the Colorado River to the world’s greatest conga line to a talk-show hosted by Arnold Schwarzenegger and featuring Britney Spears, Eminem and Michael Jackson, the whole show was too funny for words, partly thanks to the one-liners of Thom Rosseel, first-year Theatre student, who spent most of the show as Chip.
Before Boris brought his participants back to full consciousness, he planted healthy hypnotic suggestions like eating well, quitting smoking and stressing less.
“It’s a thank you from me for their participation,” Boris said after the show. “They give up their self-control for entertainment, so this gives them a positive reason they did it.”

Hi Gina,
I just wanted to let you know that the check for Boris' performance on 3/20 is in the mail so you should be getting that shortly. I also wanted to let you know how awesome the show was! It was one of the best attended events we've had all year, and the students can't wait to have him back. He was very friendly and easy to work with.
Thanks for your help,
Mary

We at IBM would like to formally thank Boris for performing at our Holiday event on December 2, 2005. Feedback from the audience regarding his performance was remarkable! Attendees said they laughed through the entire show and were very surprised at several of the acts demonstrated. His material was well suited and appropriate for a corporate audience. All jokes and demonstrations were sensitive to participating members and carefully articulated. Boris has a way of captivating and retaining the audience’s attention during his performance, indicative of an experienced, exciting performer who is receptive to reading and reacting to his audience. We feel honoured to have had Boris perform at our event and would definitely consider him for future IBM corporate events.
Sincerely,
Katherine Daciuk

Dear Boris,
I just wanted to tell you how much fun our dinner guests had in Orlando last month. Your hypnotist show was thoroughly professional and absolutely hysterical. Each of those hypnotized had the best time and would do it again in a second. All of our international distributors and executives from the home office were thrilled. Even with our smaller group and many non-english speaking guests, your show was a great success. I was told it was the best dinner Tamron has ever had and they are worried about trying to top it at the next international gathering. Thanks for making my job of entertaining an international crowd so easy.
Sincerely,
Stacie Errera
