Thank you for your visit to Hunter College. Our students (both in Women & Gender Studies and Psychology) gained a lot by screening the documentary Beauty Bites Beast, hearing your comments before and after the screening, and by actively discussing the issues raised by the film. I heard from our instructors and the students themselves that the program was fantastic and that the documentary stimulated a vigorous and productive conversation about violence against women and self-defense.
