Brian Regan
Brian JK Regan came to Los Angeles by way of Atlanta in Fall 2012, soon after graduating from New York University’s Gallatin School. His introduction to entertainment as art came through a decade of summer employment at Circus Camp, where improv and clowning were fundamental to his day-to-day responsibilities. Across his time in college, he developed a course of study in comedy writing, covering everything from screenplays to stage plays, satire to stand-up. Soon after arriving in LA, he interned at a management company before taking the leap to become a personal assistant to a nationally touring comedian. After another, separate assistant role to Kirkland comic Sammy Obeid, Brian was able to employ his first-hand understanding of the college market in order to join Kirkland Productions as Gina’s right-hand man at the end of 2015.
In Fall 2020, Brian became the owner and president of the agency, then moved the entire enterprise back to his hometown of Atlanta, GA. When he’s not laughing, you can find Brian at the roller rink, the swimming pool, or his bed—kicking back to read essays on any topic. He lives in Decatur with a near-perfect cat named Ponce, and he hasn’t yet met the legendary comedian Brian Regan but it’s inevitable. |
LUC FROLETLuc was born in France and managed to find himself exiled to the US before he turned 5. He completed the standard two-year program at the highly selective Deep Springs College in California before finishing his undergraduate education at Georgia State University in 2020 with a degree in philosophy. His hobbies include closely following his football (the other football) team’s hapless attempts at global relevance, playing chess, making up plausible-sounding etymologies, getting crushed in online video games by 13-year-olds, keeping up with developments in astronomy (read: looking at pretty pictures), and getting scratched by cats. Luc takes undue pride in the blistering typing speeds he’s able to achieve on his custom mechanical keyboard. You’re always welcome to challenge him in a typing competition—just know that you’ll lose.
Luc joined Kirkland Productions in 2021 as Brian’s operations manager and quickly grasped the unique world of event booking. He also quickly grasped Ponce, the office cat, who in turn quickly grasped him. With his claws. Luc is a happy conscript in his benevolent dictator-girlfriend’s domestic regime, where he has the honor of holding two titles: “Chief Litter Scooper” and “Most Improved,” the latter of which he shares with his own fantastically ill-behaved cat, Nongmo. |
