SCARLETT LEWIS - Intro
In December 2012, Scarlett Lewis’s son, Jesse Lewis, was killed in an act of unimaginable violence when a gunman opened fire at Sandy Hook Elementary and changed her life forever. Since then, she has gone on to create a free pre-K through 12th grade Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) program which teaches individuals to identify emotions and to choose love in any circumstance. The Choose Love Enrichment Program teaches children character values of courage, gratitude, forgiveness and compassion in action, as well as the latest neuroscience and brain research.
